It’s based on the 1.5-litre, 129bhp SE-L Nav model, meaning 0-62mph in 8.3 seconds and a top speed of 127mph. Each automobile is completed in Blue Reflex metallic paint, and uses contrasting silver outlining – the 16-inch alloy wheels, windscreen surround, wing mirrors and headrest hoops are all completed silver. It’s supposed to look crisp and icy.
In the cabin, the Arctic package does more of the same. The cup holder rings are completed in silver, while the automobile also gains chromed scuff plates.

Additional equipment is thrown in as expected. It gets heated leather seats, automatic headlamps, rain sensing windscreen wipers plus a set of rear vehicle parking sensors. These additions are lumped on top of the conventional equipment you’ll get on the SE-L Nav model it’s based on, including a seven-inch colour touchscreen infotainment system with developed in satellite navigation, cruise control, climate manage plus a start-stop button.
The MX-5 Arctic will be priced from £20,995 – slightly more than the £20,865 on the road price of the automobile it’s based on, but the additional equipment more than makes up the price.
