Some of the traditional characteristics of the type H are plain to see in the kit – the ribbed, corrugated doors as well as side panels come back, together with the long, portrait front grille as well as bug-eye style headlights.
The kit will work across different bodystyles as well – box vans for street food, minibuses as well as lots of a lot more have likewise been envisioned with the H-van bodykit.
According to Bendorfer, the two designers “did not mean to copy the forms of the original model, however rather we aimed to capture the spirit of the famous vehicle, reinterpreting it with a nostalgic fiberglass “suit” which at the exact same time is deeply rooted in contemporary style.”
With only 70 being made, nostalgia trippers will have to get their orders in quick – before the hipsters take the lot.
